Lost Student

20100826_northropauditorium_33I was taking an elementary school to the Northrop Auditorium, and they were short on chaperones and having trouble with how to keep track of the students.  I told them I had velcro straps that are florescent that I usually use for luggage that we could  have the kids where them as arm bands.

At the end of the day we loaded up again. Even with the idea we were missing one student! These are second graders so panic set in. A couple of men went looking for him. His name was Tucker. As I waited I ask the Lord. “Where is Tucker?” I got a mental imagine in my mind of him sitting on the toilet wearing a headset. I saw the words first floor. I counted in my mind that he was in the third stall.

The men came back. They were really worried what happened to him. They were going to call security, etc. I spoke up again. “I see him in the first floor bathroom in stall three. He is seven so you can’t see his feet and he has his headset on so he doesn’t hear you call his name.” Amazingly they didn’t question what I said! Two men just ran off.

It was awesome what the Lord did to protect Tucker. I had some explaining to do on the way back to the school.  God gets the glory. Go God, take care of your kids!
