Tonight I went for a massage. My massage therapist has a history of Mormonism and began asking me a lot of questions about my faith. She reported that she didn’t practice Mormonism but she had a desire for her kids to have a deep and meaningful faith. She said a lot of her experiences with church were “scary” and judgmental. I had the opportunity to share all about the abundance of life in Jesus.
I shared my own testimony, faith walk and how I talk to Him everyday. She kept asking more and more questions throughout my massage. It was hard to offer to pray for her with my head facing the floor on a table. But I was able to tell her how much God loves her and the relationship I have with Him – she can have too. I hope to invite her to an Engage home group next!! 🙂
