I recently took a new contract at the coach bus company where I work. This meant serving the same people everyday. Where previously I saw hundreds of new people everyday. This happened at the same time that Engage started.
I started to pray for my riders by name as I got to know them was intentionally polite & encouraging. Soon I started receiving mental pictures and specific information about these people from the Lord. So I would strike up a conversation and tell them that they seemed like a person who do this kind of job, sometimes even saying their name. They were all surprised and thought I was good at reading people or psychic.
I got a reputation in the first two weeks, then it got more interesting. I met an intern, she had been put into logistics but I knew through the Holy Spirit that she was created to sell, so I asked her about it. She said, “definitely.” She was doing what her dad did because she understands it but she’d love selling. I asked the Lord what I could do to help. The very next rider was a director of sales (unbeknownst to me). We chatted for a bit then two hours later they got on and I turned the director of sales and said,”Hey that young lady I told you about is actually sitting behind you.”
Three days later that young lady said she got offered a job in sales! She was so excited. I told her to thank God for the blessing that happened. She smiled and said, “I will, and thanks I know you helped too. This wasn’t coincidence, I believe God put me on my correct path.” Truly God was involved and I was happy to help. Glory to God in all that he does…even career adjustments.
