Zoo Encounter
I was at the MN Zoo with my girls playing in the water, and the Lord highlighted a mother and her son. I got the courage to go over to her and she actually started talking to me first. I told her that I really felt like God was proud of the mother she was and she was doing a great job. I asked her if there was anything I could pray for her about and she said she was getting married in two weeks and they were hoping to add to their family!

Ears Healed!
I was at work and had a client come in who mentioned that she was going to make an appointment with an ear, nose, and throat doctor because her ears had been constantly painful for the last couple months.
I prayed a simple prayer for healing in her ears and when she came back to see me two weeks later, she was so excited to tell me that “That prayer stuff really works!” I prayed for her in the evening and she said that by the next morning she had no pain and there was no more “junk” and that her ears had been fine since. Thank you, Jesus!

The Lady Next Door’s Family
Last week, my youngest son, my grandson and I were out in the front yard, when I noticed the neighbor man outside with his young son. In the two years I’ve lived next to him, we had never met. Well, I’d just talked with his wife for the first time the previous week, so I thought he was probably just as cool as she is. It wouldn’t hurt to try talking with him again.
We grabbed a bucket of sidewalk chalk and strode across the lawn, as though the neighbor wouldn’t bite. I must have great supernatural authority, because in fact, he never did! We drew on his driveway, together, with the kids. As I drew the world’s greatest tricycle superhighway on his pavement, we discussed our jobs. The Lady Next Door
A few weeks ago, I met the lady next door. This neighbor seemed to be elusive. Whenever I would see her or her husband outside, they wouldn’t respond to a neighborly “hello…” I was as if they couldn’t hear – and each time, they would go back into their house, immediately.

Massage Ministry
Tonight I went for a massage. My massage therapist has a history of Mormonism and began asking me a lot of questions about my faith. She reported that she didn’t practice Mormonism but she had a desire for her kids to have a deep and meaningful faith. She said a lot of her experiences with church were “scary” and judgmental. I had the opportunity to share all about the abundance of life in Jesus. [Read more…]
Dream & Encouragement
Last night I had a dream about someone I have known for over 30 years, not as a friend, an acquaintance who has kids the age of my kids, a lovely lady who lives within blocks of me, Renee. I dreamt I was in her yard. She had a large woody bush/tree that had died. I asked her what she was going to make with it. She said she is making a bench.
I was out in my front yard this morning. I saw 2 ladies walking up the street. I realized that one of them was Renee. [Read more…]
At Our Door
This week, a young kid – fresh out of high school – came to my door to pitch television service. I was going to send him off quickly, but he was persistent, and I realized he might be there for a reason. I recognized his ring from the family bookstore and I asked if he was a Christian. He said that, no, he was not. He said he did believe in God, though, generally.
Then he described his faith in the power of positivity. I invited him to stop by in the evening when my husband came home and he agreed, and I spent the day praying for him off and on as I went about my housework. [Read more…]
Moving Kindness
My neighbor was moving and was very stressed about getting everything done in time. Emily and I headed over and cleaned her entire house so the could focus on packing. She was able to get all the packing done not only in time but with enough time to catch a bite to eat real quick before closing.
She is are not a Christian and I think she was very surprised that we would take the time to help her out like that. Showing neighbors love is so fun and rewarding! 🙂
