I went to the park to go swimming with several of my children. My son, 7, say a police officer and wanted to go talk to him. So we went over and engaged in a conversation. He asked if my son wanted to see his squad car, and get some stickers and badges. Of course we said yes, and went to his car and my son was shown all of the workings of a squad car, the lights, the equipment and oh yes the guns!
Upon the conclusion, I asked if I could pray for him and honor his service to the community. He said, “Yes absolutely!” My son and I prayed for him for his service, releasing the Kingdom, asked for increase in angels and safety. I thanked him for serving and laying down his life for our safety, just as Jesus did for all of mankind. My son laid hands on him and prayed a short blessing as well. He was filled with joy and he thanked us over and over! He was definitely touched by God’s goodness. Yea God!
