My daughter and I went to get her hair cut. We had a great time talking with the student who was cutting her hair. She shared with us different things that were going on in her life, a lot of changes and decisions. I wanted to pray for her but felt a little awkward and unsure. Then I was looking through my purse and pulled put a little book that I have used to record seeing God at work around me and through me.
Just reading a page of this gave me the assurance that yes! God is at work through my prayers. So before we left I asked her if we could bless her and pray for her and she said yes! So Linnea and I got to pray for wisdom, and guidance over her decisions and spoke the Father’s love and care over her life. Her countenance changed, she was smiling and thanking us. I could tell she had felt the Father’s love. It was great fun!
