I’ve been enjoying speaking out the good I see in people’s lives. At one of my frequent client’s workplace, I had a man approach me during a break time. He asked me if I was the guy who,”reads people?” and he seemed skeptical. He told me He was the vice president of operations. He said that he had a question for me but he wanted to see how legit I was by not telling me the question. I felt like Daniel trying to interpret a dream for a king. Nervous… I waited on the Holy Spirit.
I received an answer and told him without thinking about it too much. I gave him answers to why his father left him when he was eight! How God worked it out for his good. Those workings by God made him the success he had become in spite of his dad’s absence. He was shocked speechless. I thought he might be offended but he ended up reaching out to shake my hand. He only said, “What you said is all true of what I do know. What I didn’t know I believe to be true. Clearly you hear God.” He started to walk away then turned back and said, “We are honored to have you here.”
He smiled and walked away as other people were boarding. He seemed overwhelmed. He never said if that was the question he had but God knew. I believe God sent me to heal the heart of that man by answering that question and to influence the influential. God is good and faithful.
