We were at a friend’s lake home in Northern MN and a young man there had been drinking most of the day and was intoxicated. Later that evening I started asking him a few questions about his life and found he played guitar, so we asked him to play.
To make a long story short; He played his heart out and made up a song that ended up sounding like a Psalm. We could feel a tangible presence of the Lord, in the room. That night I had a dream and the Lord gave me a word to share with him and I was able to share with him that he is forgiven and loved. [Read more…]
We had a delivery of a washing machine and when they walked in the two delivery guys said they immediately could tell that I was different then the last delivery at a really expensive house on the lake, because I invited them in and shook their hands and asked their names. We did small talk and I found out about them. The washer didn’t turn on for some reason and they started trouble shooting, I said that in our house when electronics don’t work we lay hands on them and pray. So I put my hands on the washer and declared in Jesus name for it to work. 
While out with my family at Inver Grove Heights Days I noticed a mom carrying a very small baby wrapped in a hospital blanket. I commented that she looked brand new and she said yes 3 weeks. I began talking with her and found out that she had lupus which prevented her from nursing and resulted in the baby being born 2 months early and weighing less than 3 pounds! We chatted a bit and then I asked if I could pray over them and they were open to it. I’m trusting the Lord for health over all of them!
Yesterday I met up for lunch with some old friends and when we were almost finished eating I saw a woman I used to work with walk by outside who I hadn’t seen in at least 2 years, so I quickly went to the window to tap on it and wave hello and invite her inside. She reacted with shock because she said just at that moment while she was walking by she was just thinking of me and how I loved to eat at this place!
I work at a bank with strict policies on this but stepped out in faith and prayed with a client for her daughter who had just been admitted to the ward of a hospital with a serious mental illness. Her daughter would barely eat, shower and talk. She basically couldn’t function on her own. I called her the next day after our prayer to see if there was any change in her daughter’s state. Unfortunately, there was no change. Refusing to give up hope however, I invited the client to our next Engage group to receive healing and prayer. 
I just moved into a new neighborhood and decided to go door to door and invite my neighbors to my housewarming party. As my elderly next door neighbor opened the door she said she was in a lot of pain from falling down the stairs the day before. She said her back was black with bruises and her shoulder really hurt. I told her I regularly saw people healed and asked if I could pray for her so she could feel better. 
It was a beautiful sunny afternoon, we were running to Target to pick up some chips and things to contribute to the afternoon picnic with friends. After gathering our items, there in the center of the median was a lady with dark glasses and a walking stick, holding a sign asking for help. We swooshed past and headed down the road.
I listed a house for a client last Thursday evening, and prepared to host an open house on Sunday. On Friday the homeowner called to tell me that her AC went out and according to her brother, who is in construction, the AC unit was completely shot and she would need a new unit.
