Hearing Restored

trust-jesusI was doing a job for Starkey, inc. which is a hearing aid company. They were gathering 250 people to participate in a testing new hearing aids for those were nearly deaf. Then 25 of the 250 would receive free ones, kind of of a lottery.

After driving to the pickup location, I went in to use the bathroom. On the wall in the grouting was graffiti saying, “Trust Jesus.” I though ok… as I was walking out I felt within myself that it had more meaning than to encourage me or something. Wow! It doesn’t hurt anymore!

shoulder-featureA woman at work yesterday mentioned that her shoulder was really hurting.  She had hurt it in July lifting someone at her work.  Doctors said that she needed surgery for it and she was taking painkillers and could not afford surgery.

I started a conversation and one thing led to another. I did not have any money on me and only my camera so I invited him to have breakfast with me the next morning at I-Hop. I ended up having a great hour with him just chatting and getting to know each other. When we parted I still was feeling bad as I had not prayed with him or prophesied over him. My resolve continued so on the way the next weekend I wrote out another treasure hunt list. When I was sightseeing that night I found a park with a water fountain and a statue in it. [Read more…]
