My daughter and I went to get her hair cut. We had a great time talking with the student who was cutting her hair. She shared with us different things that were going on in her life, a lot of changes and decisions. I wanted to pray for her but felt a little awkward and unsure. Work Connection
I was working downtown one day and I was pretty sure I would have an opportunity to encounter a homeless person while I was heading to the job site. As I expected, a man stood with a sign on a corner. The stoplight turned red, so I rolled down my window and began interacting with him. I gave him some cash and found out that he was a painter by trade, but was just having trouble finding jobs to work.

Pool & Police Ministry
I went to the park to go swimming with several of my children. My son, 7, say a police officer and wanted to go talk to him. So we went over and engaged in a conversation. He asked if my son wanted to see his squad car, and get some stickers and badges. Of course we said yes, and went to his car and my son was shown all of the workings of a squad car, the lights, the equipment and oh yes the guns!
Upon the conclusion, I asked if I could pray for him and honor his service to the community. [Read more…]
Cafe Ministry
Myself and two others hung out at Living Waters New Age cafe in Hopkins. Every night of the week a different religion has a service and this was the Christian night. We got to preach, lead worship & activated everyone in the prophetic. In one of the groups, a reluctant 7 year old learned to prophesy and blessed his mom to the point of tears.
One of the cafe’s new employees (a high school senior) hung out in the doorway most of the night and this was my conversation with him afterwards:

Coffee Shop Encouragement
On my way to work I listened to an urge to stop at a cafe to grab a cup of coffee; earlier in the day I had prayed for a divine appointment and got the word “umbrella.” As I was waiting for my coffee, a worker came through the door carrying a large umbrella from the patio tables so I asked The Lord and He showed me that he is very naturally talented playing the drums & that he isn’t to stress over practicing but to just release it and have fun. Airplane Ministry
I flew out to Washington DC this morning, and about half way through the flight there was a big commotion at the back of the plane and soon, over the intercom they were asking for medical personnel to come back to the back of the plane. I got up and walked to the back of the plane and they asked if I was a doctor and I said that I work for the Great physician and was a children’s pastor, and that I wanted to pray for the woman. Engaging My Riders
I recently took a new contract at the coach bus company where I work. This meant serving the same people everyday. Where previously I saw hundreds of new people everyday. This happened at the same time that Engage started.
I started to pray for my riders by name as I got to know them was intentionally polite & encouraging. Soon I started receiving mental pictures and specific information about these people from the Lord. [Read more…]
Connecting A Husband & Wife
I had an opportunity to minister to “Jane”. She is currently in jail serving a year. Her husband had a stroke while she has been incarcerated & has been placed in a nursing home while he recovers. She asked me to pray for her & her husband. As you could imagine she is very concerned, especially when she is unable to be with him during this time.
As I visited with her, I found out the her husband is in a nursing home that is located very close to where I live. [Read more…]
Ankle Restored!
In 2005 I was in Hawaii and broke my left ankle on both sides and I ended up with 7 screws and a metal plate, and since then I have not had much range of motion. It was like my ankle was frozen solid like cement. I could not run, my balance was off, and it was difficult walking up and down stairs. It affected not just my ankle but left side of my body, legs, and lower back as well. As a few people prayed for me, I could feel the healing heat go into my ankle.
